The UConn Foundation (EIN 06-6070722) is an independent, not-for-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization that exists to support the educational, scientific, cultural, research, and recreational objectives of the University of Connecticut.
Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) can use the Student Organizations Fund (SOF) Foundation account to receive charitable donations. Donations made to this account are eligible to receive tax benefits. RSOs are required to meet at least one time, in-person or virtual, with UConn Student Activities in order to access their funds.
